Trojans girls drop two non-conference games

Friday: Vale, Ore., 62, Homedale 38 — The Trojans trailed 28-21 at halftime and were down only a point, 6-5, before Vale ripped off a 14-0 rally. Sydney Cornwall scored eight points, and Bryce Osborn and Aubrey Nash added seven apiece in a non-conference loss on the road.
Thursday: Nampa Christian 41, Homedale 34 — Homedale couldn’t capitalize on a crisp third quarter, allowing the hosts to pull of a non-conference win.
