Library Tween and Teen group prepares for New Year’s

The Homedale Public Library will hold its next Tween & Teen program at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The program will feature a game of “What am I?”, during which participants ask yes and no questions to decipher the type of animal the name of which has been written on paper taped to their backs.
The person to figure out their animal the quickest wins a prize.
There also will be a door prize, and attendees with make a New Year’s noisemaker with paper plates and other craft items.
Cookies, punch and a vegetable tray will be served.
Participants also have the opportunity to check out books, sign up for a library card and vote for their favorite book in “Survivor: The book version.”
Parents are invited to stay for the program, which will last about an hour.
